I also look up when new books by my favorite authors are due to be released. I then put those dates on my Outlook calendar and send myself a meeting request for that day, at the time my local Borders opens. I tell my boss I have an "appointment" that morning and will be in late. I am then waiting with my nose pressed against the glass when Borders open. Sometimes I will read the first couple pages in the car before I go into my office. I have seriously considered calling in sick so I could go home and read all day, but stopped myself because I had no idea how I was going to explain that to my husband...;-) I also had to get an new bookself for my bedroom because my nighstand couldn't hold anymore books. Currently, I am in the middle of four books!!! Do you think I need a 12 step program?!?!?! I go to Amazon.com about 3 times a week and check out the books that will be coming soon.
