Just record Cold Case that comes on after the show and it will pick up where the Race left off. But since this is way better than the dreaded VCR we’ll just have to cope. LOVE your blog.

Heidi–that’s too funny. You know, I hate to admit it, but I don’t watch ANTM. And I agree with you and Liz… I’ve just got to get my fiancee on board with mindless TV. So far, I’ve been successful with Project Runway (although I think that has more to do with Heidi than the show). But you’re luckier than I am in the Amazing Race dept. For some reason, Matt insists on watching his football LIVE ;)

I had the same DVR drama when I got married! And then, my husband’s teenagers got into the action and all of my shows were being bumped by LA Ink and Rock of Love…but never fear!!! AT&T has a DVR that will record 4 shows at once!! Woot woot!!! AND you can watch what is recorded on ANY TV in the house….my dreams have come true!!

LOL! A similar discussion was just in a string on Facebook regarding Glee and America’s Top Model.

Glee runs at the same time as America’s Next Top Model, so this means my husband has a choice, and he chooses Glee. The bright side? He actually has started liking it!!!

Liz is right. You’ve got to get them to give your shows a try and then hook’em. Ryan says he hates America’s Next Top Model, but he seems to like making fun of it, therefore, occasionally I’ll catch him sticking around while I’m watching it (I just have to tolerate his Tyra jabs, but she deserves it). I really can’t believe I’m admitting I watch the show.

And Amazing Race is gold in our household, so it doesn’t have to compete with Monday Night Football unless the Broncos are on and then it’s not even a question – this girl loves her Broncos.

And the poker beeayaches? Unfortunately, they are still in the race. Gag.
