Chick Lit Blog Launches 25 Things We Want to Know about our Favorite Chick Lit Authors

LONG BEACH, CALIF. — June 16, 2009 — The popular Chick Lit blog, www.chicklitisnotdead.com, has put its own spin on Facebook’s 25 Things craze. The blog is featuring a new chick lit author each month where bloggers and chick lit authors Liz Fenton and Lisa Steinke ask fellow authors “25 Things We Want to Know About” them.

Ever wonder what’s inside bestselling author Jennifer Weiner’s purse or what Emily Giffin orders at Starbucks and listens to on her iPod? In addition to well-known authors like Weiner and Giffin, the blog will feature new and highly anticipated chick lit authors.

Readers who comment on the blogs could also win free give-aways of authors’ books. This month, Giffin answers 25 questions and is giving away five copies of Love the One You’re With, now in paperback. And in July, Weiner will answer the questions and be promoting her new book Best Friends Forever.

About the Authors

Liz Fenton and Lisa Steinke are co-authors of the chick lit book I’ll Have Who She’s Having and the popular blog www.chicklitisnotdead.com.

Liz Fenton and Lisa Steinke have been friends for over twenty years since the day Lisa walked into Freshman English class wearing red eyeglasses that made her look like Sally Jesse Rafael’s younger, but much more stylish sister. They both attended Cal Poly Pomona University and each graduated with a degree in Communication. Liz is married with two children and Lisa is single. They both reside in Long Beach, California. They’re currently at work on their second dual narrative Chick Lit novel.

About the Book

I’ll Have Who She’s Having is the story of a man who comes between a desperately single and a very married sister. Liz wrote the character, Kelly, who is questioning her marriage and her entire life after becoming a stay at home mom. Lisa wrote the character of Kate, the single sister, who after getting dumped on her bootie yet again, continues to look for love in all the wrong places. The book is told from the alternating points of view of Kate and Kelly and is full of laugh out loud moments as the sisters struggle to figure out who is going to make them happy.
